Planting broad beans.

Helping Marj to plant broad beans this week led to more activities to acknowledge the signs of spring. Crafting daffodil paper straws and creating daffodils out of Lego pieces were not only fun but also promoted fine motor skills and creativity. Playing a guessing game with yellow objects adds an element of cognitive development as children use their observational and memory skills. After all the learning some children took a break and played ‘shark dogs’ at the green.

During the very wet days later in the week children enjoyed navigating the ride on toys around the hall, making number signs to park their vehicles and popping bubbles from the Chase bubble machine.
